Art Camp

Excelsior's Art Camp

Wouldn’t it be great to be creative with other young artists? At Artist in Training we use modern techniques with a fun and child-friendly interpertation. Embrace the inner artist!

This specialized program will be held at both the Excelsior Learning Center and Ideas5 Studio. The program allows young artists the opportunity to express their unique perspective on art with the guidance from professional artists. The Artist in Training Program is divided into three 1-week specialized camps based on the genre of art that wants to be explored.

Led by well-known Boston artist and local artist of Ideas5, our young artists will spend the mornings exploring new techniques, building skills, and experimenting in both two and three-dimensional mediums. These classes will offer artists the opportunity to explore a favorite medium in depth. Choices will include painting, pottery, jewelry-making, textiles, and mosaics.
The session will culminate in an exhibit open to all families.
